Worth Getting A Gen 7 Trd?

Seen a few of these about, talking about all the TRD upgrades and body kits. Are they actually quicker/worth the extra pennies you pay for them?

They are pretty gutless AFAIK, but they do look good.. I was looking at one one this weekend parked up in reading.

So in terms of power they are comparable with the standard 190?

The TRD Gen 7 celicas are actually 200bhp along with the Sports M model. If I saw a genuine TRD model I'd snap it up. B)

The TRD gen 7 is exactly the same engine wise as the UK spec..... they just have the body kit.

The reason the JDM VVTLI is rates as 200bhp there is due to their better 100 ron petrol.

The sports M are different.... with a lightened flywheel and with a TRD exhaust... they actually product more power then the stock VVTLI. But their handling is the main improvement over stock... being lower, lighten, stiffer and with an LSD.
