Hi

When the weather is very cold you can use it to increase the idle speed. You sometimes find that on a cold day especially if you have the lights and heater on the engine is very lumpy and slow just while it is cold. This helps to smooth it out. I think you will find it makes no difference now but you could give it a try first thing in the morning.

Cheers

Thank u very much! But when I have to push it in - before I start the engine or after I've started it!?

Thank u once more!

It doesn't really matter. If you think about it you could push it first but if not you will soon remember if the engine is ticking over too slow and making the vehicle vibrate.
