Following on from my previous post about aftermarket filters...

...I thought I post a quick guide for this relatively easy task. These instructions are for the 1.4 Diesel Aygo

First. Pull the engine cover upwards and remove and you will see the below picture. Then use a T25 star bit (or T25 allen key) to remove the 3 screws circled in red

Then pull off the cover and this is what you'll see

...and air filter removed

If you're unsure if the filter needs replacing, just compare it to the old filter and use some common sense. My first filter was ok for 30,000 miles, but the next one (below) wasn't looking good after 15,000 miles

Assembly- fit filter, replace filter cover & screws, replace engine cover
