4x4 & Mpv & Driver Mag Have Gone Bust !

I was a subscriber to 4x4 & MPV DRIVER magazine sadly they have gone to the wall :( i received a cheque today for the balance of my subscription, seems times are hard all round, bit of a shame as they had a good magazine keeping me up to date with all matters SUV & MPV,not sure what other mags cover the same type of light 4x4 vehicles, guess a trip to Smiths will tell me.

It is sad isn't it? Companies are beginning to realise the costs of advertising in magazines, and in telephone directories, is expensive when a website will often bring in more sales for less cost.

Coupled with the general economic environment, many companies are reviewing discretionary spend. Except that is the banks who now have been rudely awoken by those wishing to seek some sort of redress against people like Sir Fred. He is probably quite lucky - in other countries the whole place would have been gutted.

Landrover magazines don't seem to have suffered the same, perhaps as they have a long term audience.
