Hi All

I'm new to the club forum I'm looking to find out info on pricing for a celica which I have been offered:details are as follows

Celica (Gen 6) SR

1998 Black excellent condition

full service history with all receipts/MOTs etc

Cat 1 alarm

40,000 miles

was top of the range with all bells and whistles so to speak

Its priced @ £3995.

Is this over the top or about right after all its a ten year old car??

Also any pointers of what I should be looking out for i.e car issues etc obvuiously there's all the usual stuff that you should check etc

Any Help or info will be great

Many thanks

Buzz

Price is often a personal thing as to your needs wants and cash availability I can only say i have just bought a 1996 2.0 st202 import off my son to help him out recently and the car is very nice

Since I have been looing at varied models and you can pick them up at reasonable prices in nice condition

I have seen 1996 1997 low mileage full leather uk spec going for 1200 also seen same car going for 2K - 2.5K

Try a search on e bay or autotrader to see what similar cars are going at. Personnaly I think its too high at £3995 but that is only in my opinion

Good luck

big price due to low mileage ?? - thing is if you take a low mileage car to trade in the mileage means nothing to price. dealers gimmick ????

if i had £4k to spend , id look for a lowish mileage gt4 import .
