I hate %$(in' traffic wardens. Always jumping at the chance to give me parking tickets when I park at the girlfriends place at the weekend.

They want to charge you £12 per parking permit book and you've got to prove your residence and you're allowed ten books a year. each book contains ten parking permits. Crazy isn't it? Instead I park next door but a bird sits in the tree and *****s all over my car. Before anyone asks, there isn't anywhere else to park. Bugger.

I was down the town this afternoon. I'm supposed to walk for my health's sake, but why have a car, then :D

I knew I was going to be some time with voting & odds & sods, so I actually put Euro2 in the machine-good for 2 hours. It took my money & didn't return it, as it does if it thinks the coin is dodgy Didn't give me a ticket either. I had to put in again & it worked. I was walking away when I met a Traffic Warden friend & stopped to chat. In the course of conversation I told her the story. She said to me "Victor, did you not see me ? You could have parked there for as long as you liked & I couldn't care less " The great advantage of having a rare & very recogniseable car

I told her not to worry, coz I definitely owed them a small fortune from parking & taking a chance. She walked away laughing her head off.

Please don't everyone migrate to my town. I think it must be my charm, sexiness, good looks & intelligence that does it, or something Probably "something" :( if you have viewed my Profile :lol2:
