Just a quick query, if a relay is clicking does that mean it is working fine, or can they click and still be faulty?

They can still be faulty yes, there could be a bad connection somewhere that makes it go crackers i had this problem on an aircraft nose leg once. Do you have a fault or just wanted the info?

It's the horn on the other halfs car. It's stopped working and I'm trying to narrow down the fault. The fuse is fine, it's a dual tone horn so they both shouldn't go at the same time, and the relay clicks when the button is pressed hence my question. I'll have a go at replacing the relay first before I start tring to trace the wiring.

Then the relay mechanism is working if it clicks when the button is pressed. It will be worth getting a mulimeter across it in case the connection is knackered, other than that it sounds fine.
