Brake Light Bulb-avensis

I am the proud, new owner of a 2006 Avensis diesel estate. My question is how do I get at the rear bulbs so that I can change my brake light bulb. I'm sure that its easy but I can't see any obvious ways of doing it. Thanks for any help.

It tells you in the owner’s manual. I have an estate (Tourer) and my back right brake bulb went. It is a fiddle to get out/in. You have to get access by the side compartment. Make sure you put it back right my indicator bulb fell in the housing and I had to take the whole back headlamp out just to get the bulb out!!!
