hi all, iv recently purchased a 2001 gen7 140bhp model. i have a few questions as i cant find what i need anywhere on the net!!

where can i get a performance exhaust that doesnt look ridiculous, perhaps one modeled on the standard exit??

where can i get a de-cat/manifold? (would this be either or? i.e is the cat on the manifold/downpipe?)

the only lowering springs i can find are 35mm, i want 45mm, any ideas?? (springs or full kit)

anywhere other than eBay to get the GT style spoiler?

remapped ecu??

hope you can help as its really doing my head in!

cheers.

exhaust's there are a lot to choose from it's personal opinion, too many to list, although most recommend the TRD

Fensport do a cheap manifold for the 140, check out their website fensport.co.uk. It would be manifold only, you would need a decat pipe afterwards.

Any more than 40mm lowered on springs and you'll need new shocks, most companies do between 30 and 35mm springs for the celica, you will need ajustable coilovers to go lower, tein basics or tein superstreet. There are quite a few other makes out there but I don't know who makes kits for the celica.

Cheap toyota parts sell the gt rear spoiler for the celica but it's over £1k, you can get a TRD which is the same or similar (I haven't been able to tell the difference) for around the £600, but both are genuine. The eBay ones are replicas and the cheapest.

From what I have read a remapped ecu is pointless on any gen 7 celica, I haven't looked into it but everyone seems to go for some kind of tuning box from apexi, I can't remember what it's called but as said I haven't looked into it.

check out celica club uk there is much more info on there about the gen 7 than here, or you could try new celica.org it's american website but has the most info on the net about the gen 7 celica

You can not remap the stock Gen7 Celica ECU sadly, most people buy the Apexi Power FC and get it mapped.

hope this helps
