Hardtop

It looks like my MR2 is going to be written off by my insurers following its brush with a daydreaming old Corsa driver. I have my hardtop sitting in my garage as I was driving with just the softtop at the time of my accident - I'd obviously like to get a new MR2 with the settlement money but was wondering if you can get a hardtop fitment kit from a Toyota dealer?

I've no guarantee of being able to get the bolts etc off my dead car as it's with the repair folk - not sure if they'd be too keen on me turning up with toolkit in hand. Tried phoning my local dealer but they haven't got back to me with an answer/price. If I can get a fitment kit for the hardtop then it'll increase my new car choice.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi, over at MR2ROC they use CTP, he's an affiliate of the club and a club member.

He may do discounts for club members but quotes are around £169 delivered for the fitting kit. Will be going there myself once I find a hardtop so let us know how you get on.

His website is www.cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk

Hi,

If so what colour and how much do you want for it?.
