Hi guys!!..

Sooo ive had my grubby celica for a week now & still not got round to any more than a quick soapy wash  ( i sooo knew that would happen)

I AM determined to get her sparkly for this sunday's MFN (dunno if any of you attend??,.. if not then think about it!! it would be a bit cool havin a row or 2 of toyotas/celicas!! ) ..

Anyway.. shes white & got loads of bedded in grime.. im just wondering what you'd all recommend?

Dad keeps saying '' Couple of t-cuts..washes..and a polish'' .. But im not so sure!?..

Anyone recommend anything good for getting the embedded crap out!? ..

Cheers My Dears !! :D

P.S somthing that makes it a nice and easy job.. i usual get bored half way threw & dad usualy storms off in the house with a ''headache'' ... oh .. n that was when washin the old KA.. let alone the celica.. thats 3 times bigger & 10 times dirtier !!

Well hello Sexy!

I live just a couple of miles from MFN and have been a couple of times. Have a look at johny's Thread in the detailing Section on Celica Club, it will tell you all you need to know on how to prep. your Car properly.

id recommend AUTOGLYM PAINTWORK RENOVATOR - its easy on and easy off , its amazing how much dirt this stuff gets out of the paint , I'd stay well clear of t-cut , if the sun comes out you will never get it back off.

Whats MFN?

Personally i like the megs 3 step, but takes it time to apply... even with a mechanical polisher!

 a couple of t-cuts? no chance, not if you value your cars paint, wash your cars with micro fibre cloths instead of sponges (this reduces scratching) and any wash/washnwax product, buy yourself a clay bar kit, you should only need to do this once a year so worth the effort, once the cars dry use the clay bar as directed in the instructions, then give it a quick wash just using cold water and micro fibre cloths, dry the car and polish away with any product, meguirs and auto glym being the best that are redily available, then stand back and admire :thumbsup:

Whats MFN?

Its a weird club/pub-in-a-warehouse, with a load of land around it up near Ilkeston. As the acronym suggests, its in the middle of 'flippin' no-where (replace flippin with something more adult). They do a load of car meets, bike meets, gigs, etc. Never been for a meet myself, but know a few who do. Rumour has it, its mainly kids and corsas, but there's usually a few other things of interest...
