Headlight Problems

Apologies I know this has been done to death but my dipped headlight (not full beam) on my 2003 avensis isnt working. Went to Halfords and the fella was able to get the bulb out and it didnt appear to be blown. He put in a new one but still no luck. He seemed to think it was a wiring problem.

Does this tie in with the whole melted casing thing or can anyone reccommend I try something.

Edit: Just had a look in the manual that I downloaded off here and it said to check fusebox H-LP LL or H-LP RL. Finally located the fuses behind the glove compartment but theres no mention of what fuse is the right one

Cheers for any help

To neesy,

You should have white sticker with all fuses noted in Blue writing stuck to back of glove-box. Also check your main engine bay fuse-box to right hand side of engine by Battery for other fuses, you might find headlamp fuses in this location presuming you have blown fuse.

Regards, Beagh.
