:D Hello everybody, just to let you know that i'm pleased to be a member of the club.

As an old Toyota Celica lover I recently bough my Toyota Celica 1993 GT Limited edition. It's a Japanese import and feels like to be in the old days again. In 1990 I had an old Celica (1986 model) with the nice flip head lamps, and cruised a few years without any problems.

After many years and many cars droven I bounced again this beauty, and am very very happy with it.

So if you would like to drop a line youre more then welcome.

Regards Ben

Hi! everybody. I am a proud owner of a 54 Reg. Yaris and pleased to be joining this forum.

This is my first car as I learnt to drive very recently, having survived for many years (and very happily too) depending on public transport and my two dear legs! it took me 4 years to pass the wretched test and all the time I was learning, I'd look at all the cars on the road and very soon I knew the one for me, if and when I got my driving licence, was the Yaris. I just fell in love with each and every one that I saw and envied the owners for owning one. So when I finally came to buying the car, I decided I wanted the bright belearic blue or the forest green, or the yellow one, but ended up with a twilight blue one from the blue series because it was in an excellent condition and had very little mileage on it. I still long for a bright, garish, flashy coloured Yaris, but I do admit to feeling very proud when people tell me what a lovely, sober, sohisticated colour mine is!!

I haven't driven it much, mostly around York, where I live, I am a rather nervous driver and am only now beginning to get a hang of driving on my own. But I do enjoy my short drives in my own lovely Yaris!

Murlal

PS: you've guessed it, yes I am a lady owner- only a woman would think about colour (that's what I've been told by all) but honestly, find me a man who'd drive a candy pink car!! :)
