hi peeps ive just bought my first gt4 and im hooked!!!!!! but im having a stupid dilema, when washing the car (ill be going to a car wash) do i avoid getting anything onto the engine thru the bonnet vent????!!!!!

Personnally i would avoid commercial car washers at all cost, but thats just my opinion due to them leaving swirls on the body paintwork and they can bite off areals ect.

no no no no no lol mee too the rollers of death!!! haha no i meant one where a man uses jet wash!!!

mine gets pressure washed with an open vent. I do have a cone filter so I just put a plastic bag over that but you shouldn't get much water through the vent anyway. If you leave the car running the heat of the engine evaporates the water before it gets in anyway.

avoid spraying water directly into the snorkel . getting water into the larger vent wont hurt anything .
