Rav 4 Drivers Side Window Motor

hi im wondering if anyone can help me ive a rav4 on a m plate the drivers side window motor as gone are they coman fault twice its happen im wanting to no if anyone as one for sale too as ive checked all car breakers in yorkshire none what so ever and does anyone no if other toyota ones fit thanks

I wouldn't say its a big problem big Stretch - but more a lack of lubricatiuon on the mechanism.

I've had a 1994 RAV from new and only have a noisy passenger door window motor. The drivers is ok.

I use silicon lub spray on the guides to help the glass up and down....but the mech down below really needs a lub as well after 15 years!!

If you get hold of another motor from a Jap breaker, then take the trouble to lub the guides and all moving parts.

Try any Jap breaker or Parts Gateway and similar.

There are currently three on eBay. No idea if they are any good to you but worth a look. Just search 'Rav4 window'
