Hi all.

Just sent my car to the garage for a couple of new front tyres.

Toyo proxo's £59.95 + VAT

thats pretty average isnt it?

they are the 185/55's i think.

I replaced my fronts a couple of weeks ago, at 18,500 miles. I just went with the Toyota fixed pricing thing and got 2 premium tyres for £65 each. They're the original Dunlop SP Sports, except these are Quick Response and are really good. I used to have trouble with the old ones spinning when I started off in the wet but these are great. I suppose it shows how far tyres have come since 2006 when my car was registered.

You should have gone for 195/50x15 on the Toyo's... they will fit the car fine and it's legal to change the size 2 at a time as long as they are on the same axle... would have saved yourself around £20 a tyre.
