Avensis Boot Door Hinge

Just today while I opened the boot on Avensis hatch-back, one of the door hinge snapped(broken) and the door could not be closed.

Can anyone advise a)where I can get replacement hinge and b)Can I fix it myself ???

you'd better ask for the same parts from PARTS KING -- PM him.

as to installation - this job is for two persons -- i do not see a problem.

The hinges are both the same (not handed) and can be changed easily enough, but I would suggest it is a two man job, there is a lot of weight in a tailgate/glass so take your time with a colleague and you should be OK

Long story short, I have three hinges that will fit a 2001 Avensis. I just want some cash back, paid 35 quid for a set + postage around (4 quid) within the UK. Without a doubt, a 2 man job.
