Help Cars Still Not Working

if some one cant give any kind of idea whats wrong with the thing id be very grate ful. ive got an n reg gt and its been off the road for about 5 months now i keep going out now and again hoping its going to start and stay running but it dont. runs fine for about 10 to 20 mins and then dies. starts perfect just wont keep going. it sort of runs ok then revs slightly then i dies if i get in it put my foot on the accelerator it dies instantly. but if i keep doing that it get slightly better each time an druns a little longer changed loads of parts on it because at first it wouldnt even start got it started just wont stay running . any one have any ideas whats up with it plz. thanks

Ok no expert on the gt but have you checked your plugs (correct heat grade), leads, alternator and Battery. Have you checked your cat is not blocked or your egr valve is not choked up. Just guessing i would go for cat as someone i know had a blocked cat and his would work ok then some days wouldn't even start.

It sounds like the car is choking itself

either no air intake or no gas escape would be my opinion on fault

Either 1 should be asy enough to identify just for test purpose of course

go for easiest first and remove all covers to air intake as far as possible and try it again to see if it keeps running .

No joy

leave covers off and remove / loosen exhaust at accessible point so gas can escape here.preferably not manifold head side but before cat

car may run loud n ruff if it is on exhaust vent,so dont over rev point of test is more elimination.

if both these fail then the only other option i could think off is engine timing has slipped or fuel lines / filter is chocked up

hope this gives you some clues
