Hi,

If you set your tank size in litres (32) then switch the units to gallons, it doesn't re-adjust and assumes you have a 32 gallon tank! I discovered this when I set the tank size in litres, but then wanted to see live MPG in the gauge. Now I stick to MPL

The speed setting on the scan gauge instructions isn't great. It's best to use a sat nav, or match up what your dash board tripmeter says, with what the scangauge thinks your trip length is. The car's trip meter is more accurate than it's speedo, which is regularly 3-4 mph over the actual speed. I didn't have to adjust the speed setting on mine

Enjoy :)

I don't use the function that tells you how much fuel (or distance)you have remaining so I left the tank size to be the same as I had set it for my Aygo which was over 7gallons but cant remember exactly what number.

If you are only after accurate mpg then just follow the instructions and do a few fillups, inputting fuel used each time and saving the info by pressing "done".

As Adilmon says, in my case too the Scangauge mileage counter is spot on to gps measurement, as is the cars built-in odometer, and did not need to be calibrated, so it is only the fuel usage that needs to be calibrated to give you accurate mpg figures and it is very easily done.

Thankyou for the info both.
