No-one makes mounting brackets for the Paseo as far as I'm aware.

Posted

yeh u can use universal ones

Posted

when i was searching the net last night i found there were some mounting brackets labeled for the seo. If i can find the site again ill let you know what seats they were for but cant guarentee there not from the US.

But otherwise you cant get them as the only seo i know that has different seats has custom brackets.

Look inside this seo and altough you cant see the brackets you can see the seats

Its not too difficult to make up custom brackets...

But it has to be tough...

Stock seats for now, but black and grey TRD seats in a few months!

www.nopi.com sells seat brackets for a Paseo last I know.

Posted

Yeah, I think they still do. Or look for Tercel, Celica or Corolla brackets.

Posted

cool!

will Tercel, Celica or Corolla brackets be the same then?

Posted

I've got plenty of Sera seats if anyone wants something different...

Choice of bluey/grey or light brown seats. Can easily be retrimmed if required.

Nope... Different Evo.

ToyotaSera,

Where would you get the re-trimming done from then?

Posted

There are trimmers up and down the country...

I've got one locally who I use. He did these for me in blue Alcantara with the SERA logo embroidered into them for a customer of mine in Essex. Looked and felt lovely...

HHHmmmmm Alcantara

Anyone know if Corolla brackets would work then?

Posted

cost for re-trims then?

Thanks...

I think a full retrim in Alcantara with embroidered seats was approx £ 900 or so... Alcantara is expensive stuff, more expensive than leather, but with the glass roof in a Sera, I don't recommend leather as it gets very hot. Alcantara gets warm rather than scorching...

Leather is harder to work than normal cloths...

Even if you replace the seats with Recaros or Cobras they still look like aftermarket seats. Its only after a matching retrim that things start looking as if they were factory fit.

nobody knows!? ;)

well i hate the standard pattern on the seats so i'd have to do something. Is the shape of the standard seats quite supportive?

:help:

I havent got £900 to spend on a retrim £700 on sparco recliners is a slim chance too! So i''l have to get some £450 Corbeau's me thinks, they still look absolute quality!
