Where Is My Engine Coide Printed?

hi all i have brought an mr2 coupe but told rather then haveing its standerd engine in that it has the sw20 where is the code printed on the engine as i cant find it

SW20 is actually the chassis type and not the engine.

The SW20 will either have,

3sfe - 111 BHP

3gse - 158 BHP

3gste - Turbo model 220+

How do you know the engine isnt standard?

Engine code is usually on the cambelt cover.

and will only be one of the ones Andy mentioned,

Unless it's had a V6 conversion or something like that.
