Anti Hijacking Device

I have just bought a 2006 Verso T3 and have been reading the user manual and it mentions about having a device that will automatically lock the doors when the engine is started but does not tell you how to activate it, all it says is ask your delaer to tell you. I know that my previous non-toyota car had this feature that was activated by holding down the lock and unlock button inside the car. Has anyone activated this feature or know how it is done please.

hi iv done this before in the garage. your car will need to go in to the garage to get the computer attached to it. from there, we access your ecu and set the locks to lock every time you drive your car. we done it for a couple when they went to spain and when they came back, we reset it. its quite simple to do.
