Now then everyone,

Right im looking at getting a glanza v and i was proper excited till i started hearing kmh and restricted, whats the deal??

at the mo i have a saxo vtr and i was hoping that the glanza is gunna blow this french out of the water but im not so sure now.

Can i get some reasurance that it will.

Just like a spec list and maybe standard top speeds, were i can get the kmh converted to mph, how to get the speed restriction off because i no there is a turbo restriction that can be turned off on the boost control, and any other helpfull info you guys have to help me go to the glanza dark side lol

Cheers

Jap imports are limited to 112mph but its easy enough to remove, you can get delimiters from eBay and the like, most will also convert it to mph from kmh.

They have a 2 mode turbo which allows hi and lo boost via a button on the dash, however, Glanzas also have a boost restriction which means 1st and 2nd gear is limited to 0.6bar IIRC.

Boost restriction removal is a 5 minute job, just a case of swapping to hoses around and will give full boost in 1st and 2nd gears ;)

Standard Glanza is around 8 seconds 0-60 and 112mph top end.

If you remove the speed and boost restrictions it'll do 0-60 in around 7 and top end of roughly 135mph.

Either way it'll muller a vtr B)
