Hi all, been here a while and have a few pics scattered around the place so decided to start a thread on my car..

Had it a year now and love it.Most of you know that its a Corolla down here.. Mine is an 08 Corolla Levin ZR,top of the range which has optitron dash,

rear spoiler, skirts.climate control, all the airbags etc etc ...

Our whole range has just the one motor here, the 1.8 2ZR-FE 100kw and all the manuals come with a 6speed box..

Have few JDM mods and some Euro ones thanks to Parts King, mainly cosmetic mods though, exhaust will come later on..

TRD front bumper garnish

Osram Diadem indicators

Genuine Toyota slim weather shields

JDM Auris badges front &rear

17" Lenso RE30 wheels

King springs 30mm front 50mm rear

SR180 rear diffuser decal

TTE front spoiler(finally)

Hope you like the pics..

Cheers

John

Wheels were originally shadow chrome, then black and now BMW silver..

I know, that's what I meant. You don't have pics as you don't have Toyota,

so you're trying to fill this forum with something else than pice.

BTW why are you on Toyota forum if you're @ toyota free zone?

Best regards, Alex

I agree. Seen dieseldrinker in quite a lot of convos and he doesn't even own a toyota??!! :P Btw very sporty car JVN11. Like wot uv done wid it!

But cd i just say the exhaust pipe sticking out doesnt go with the whole sporty look. A silencer like alex's would look great!

why not 18" ?

Why yes? I think those look just fine, not too big and not too small. Also the brakes would be out too much and look too small with those rims in 18", as the model is pretty open and there's plenty of space through which you are able to see the brakes.

Especially as if I understood correct JVN's previous rims were 17" too and seems like he liked how they acted, also possibly he did not want to buy new tyres just because of changing rims. Don't forget that bigger rims always cost more! Now he got good ride which is not too stiff and car is still looking good, all that for a reasonable price!

IMO there's many many reasons why not to choose those rims in 18"!

Hi Alex and spot on ;) Hey xpyyy yes its just personal preferance, bit more comfort cos its lowered,i already had the tyres and i like good tyres so 17" are cheaper and i mentioned before i've always gone an inch bigger than standard,i like stock cars lowered B) Plus i chose these rims for an all genuine Toyota look, nice and clean but i will be getting set of black rims too for a more aggressive track look..Thanks to you xpyyy iam interested in coilovers now.

I want to go a little bit lower :D

Cheers guys

John

Hahaha lowering of Aurises goes around the planet :)

I like the Kappa, espesially in 18" when i first saw them on TOCAU on Silver Rolla'08, and about tires it's all right and much more 'moneysaving' than to change for 18" :D

What coilovers are you interested in? Haven't you checked kristoff's Auris on KW V3? :) Damn low!

Yeah that is low and looks as hot as yours but iam not a fan of the Enkeis, Havent searched yet but will read up on the info you have given, also someone in Aus put Pedders(local made)coilovers on an Aurion and mentioned that if something goes wrong doesnt have to wait for parts from overseas,so i'll check them out too. I'am in no rush at the moment though :D

Looking real Nice,

I did my calipers in a nice red, which stands out on the silver background,

I like the black on the grill but just seems a bit too much like a Golf !!??
