Headlamps - Interchangeable?

Good morning - could anyone tell me whether the headlamp units are interchangeable between a 5 dr and 3 dr model (2000 - 2006)?

I think there was a style change in 2003 - you would need to check the shape and mountings.

I May be wrong (it has been known) but i think the style change was from square fog lights to round ones, the headlights werent affected, To make sure contact your local dealer + ask if the 3/5 door have the same part number..Oh + welcome to the mad-house..

I would guess that the 3 and the 5 door headlamps would be the same for the same model year

The headlamps for the RAV4.2 2000-2003 with square fogs will not be a direct swap with the RAV4.2 2003-2005 with round fogs though.

The indicators moved from the fog-light housing to the headlamp, which is one change you would need to work out.

Also, the front grill on the two different models are very slightly different dimensions. Not sure exactly what caused the difference though - the bumper is a bit different but don't know if the lights are slightly different as well in profile.
