2009 Sienna Delivery Time

Hello:

I am in process of buying a new Sienna and have been waiting for more than 3 weeks now for the deliver. Every week I have been told by the dealership that the Toyota has changed the delivery date.

The Sienna that I am interested is an XLE with Navigation/Entertainment package and I have been told that there's not that many being made. My dealer tells me that the Sienna is in "Freight" status but is unable to track where the van is, and its been more than 10 days the van is in "Freight" status.

My question to the forum members is, is it normal for such a long delivery time? Is it really true that the dealership cannot find out exactly where the vehicle is?

I am in eastern PA and very much about to give up on Sienna and go for an Odyssey!

Any info will be appreciated.
