Messed Up After Market Cd Player

jst in case anyone didnt see my last query i said id give it it's own topic and see what happens NEWAY ................

im havin major problems with an aftermarket sony cd player a fitted to my yaris i connected everything up as it should be using the ISO connector an all but all im getting is a really bad crackling noise in the front left speaker............. ITS DRIVING ME MAD .................. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check the connections at the speaker for loose connections and make sure theres nothing at the back of ur headunit 2 interfer with the cables, infact check the whole run if you can,

if this still doesnt help loosely run a new cable over the seat to the speaker to check if its the cable or the speaker process of elmination wil prob be the best bet,

yeah ichecked the Speakers and there working fine i still have the tape deck working through them so i dont think it could be the Speakers........ could it be the actual headunit itself giving me grief?????????

disconnect tape deck it might be that interefering

take it back where ya got it, and let them have a look

If you are using the screws that hold the coin tray in place then file them down to less than 8mm for a Sony unit, they are too long and can touch the board inside. It worked for me and I had the same problem.

changed the screws to shorter ones it did the job thanks a mill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ha ha ha ha i know tell me about it i tried EVERYTHING ......... even took the door panels off to check the speaker wire............. i wouldnt mind but it was only about THREE MM at the top that was givin all the grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
