Wash Before Wax - Whats Best?

Hi all

New to keeping your car clean and shiny, but having spent a few quid on the car, I thought I would look after it.

Used some megs tech wax last year on my rav4 and it gave a fantastic finish. Looking to give it another coat, what would you reccommend for cleaning it with first? Anything to get the old wax off etc?

Also, is there a coating to use after megs?

How long has the Megs been on for?It will be fine to give it another coat after a wash.

I use hte meguirs gold car shampoo.. works a treat, makes it easier to dry too!

If you want to strip old wax off , wash it with washing up liquid . That will take all off
