Andrew Rowley Toyota, Radlett

My 2006 T-Spirit had its MoT today at Andrew Rowley Toyota in Radlett. I've previously said how good I thought Currie Motors in Brentford were, and because they are near where I work, I had contacted them first to see if I could get the MoT done there but no luck - no availability until early May. So I did a search of Toyota dealers on my commute and AR Toyota came up en-route.

While everything was handled routinely, they deserve praise for looking into a loose rear spoiler for me. I think the previous owner must have gently knocked it because it's always been a bit rattly when shutting the bootlid, and so this morning when booking the car in - almost as an afterthought really - I asked the dealer to look at it. Collected the car tonight and they'd checked and refitted the spoiler for me at no charge. Can't say fairer than that! MoT costs £53.10 incidentally. I think this is a flat fee across all dealers and for all models.

I had use of a bright red, heavily sign-written Yaris 1.0 for the day, and by chance I had a meeting in Maidenhead to get to so spent a fair amount of time and quite a few miles in the car. Wasn't keen on it at all at first - it has very short clutch pedal travel and an accelerator pedal which does nothing until pushed down a fair way. This means moving away from a standstill was a bit jerky for a while, but the car grew on me during the day, especially the odd 3-cylinder noise under acceleration. I doubt I'd ever buy one, but it's nice to try these other models out from time to time!

Maybe if you put this into the appropriate sub forum, rather than dropping it, off topic, into a random thread, you might get a more favourable response?

And maybe it should be in a Chrysler forum but if you do choose to sell it in the "For Sale" section I'm afraid you will have to subscribe first!!!

Have a quick flick through the selling rules.

Cheers
