Too much time on my hands, but every time I see this, I am intrigued

What was happening on that day ? Was there a good row going on ? It's been a while since we had one - the change in forums didn't produce that quantity. Nowadays 50 registered users & visitors is a good turn out :(

Not really, Les. I can remember some really abusive, aggressive & obnoxious characters back then. They got banned & it wasn't for Banter or straying off topic either. I'm quite sure you remember the cases too Poor Flexy & family were in the ha'penny place beside them

I suspect that Andy was keeping the peace in case Les replied to my post & I got thick (Doesn't happen )

Someone asked a question, I answered it and everyone else seems to be talking about something else!

We did have a lot more "active" members back then.... and by active I don't mean those who constantly post all day every day but who actively contributed to the forum, helped people, answered questions, asked questions and suggested ways forward for the club.

Considering the amount of members we have, there are a lot of inactive members.... ie those who never post or who only post once.

A lot of those more active members have moved on now.... only a few of the "old school" remain.....

We did have a lot more "active" members back then.... and by active I don't mean those who constantly post all day every day but who actively contributed to the forum, helped people, answered questions, asked questions and suggested ways forward for the club.

Considering the amount of members we have, there are a lot of inactive members.... IE those who never post or who only post once.

A lot of those more active members have moved on now.... only a few of the "old school" remain.....

I know & it is a shame. I suppose some of them look in from time to time. I hope they moved on for personal reasons, IE change of car, growing up/older (hark at who is talking :lol2: ) , family & lack of time, rather than dissatisfaction with the Club.

As well as that , Em, I suppose I am "old School" being a member for nearly 5 years, now. I do post Questions, answer them if possible & likewise try to help & support people, if possible. I also post every day & nearly all day :o & some of it is banter & an irrelevant comment on a post. I for one welcome any comments on my posts, be they serious, sarcastic or banter. It means, to me , that someone has taken an interest in what I've said & taken the time to reply. I'm sure that goes for others too.
