Previa Rear Air Conditioing Solenoid Leak

Hello all,

I have a leak on the solenoid valve flare connections that feeds the rear evaporator on my Previa GX 200MY.

Has anyone esle had similar problems?

WELL

I took the leaking solenoid valve off and stuffed one of the threads up on a tube that connected to it in the process.

Denso 44310-0457 Solenoid Valve £170

9" Length of aluminium tube £70

For Toytota to replace inc parts £500

I can fit them myself but the thought of paying £240 for what probably costs £40 to manufacture, distrubute and store hurts, badly.
