Kensington Liquid Aux (just £35!)

:) So I have a TSpirit and bought this Liquid Aux setup to allow me to charge my Ipod whilst playing it through the Aux input and controlling it from the steering wheel.

You plug the power plug/controller into the central consol socket , attach the neat little aux plug into the aux socket and then plug the ipod into the power socket using the interactive attachment (like you get with an Ipod dock).

There is just the right amount of cable and the construction is of very good quality.

the attractive remote allows you to pause, play forward and reverse skip tracks and shuffle your playlist. Although it comes with a tough strap to attach it to the steering wheel, because its wireless as long as you have it in the cabin, it will control the ipod.

i had a connects2 ipod adaptor for my audi which was nearly £200 and a much messier setup but allowed me the same level of connectivity, so for £35 this system is amazing!

Hopefully, here are some stock pictures (i haven't taken one of the installation yet but most of it is hidden inside the armrest anyway.

The remote looks good and can actually be mounted anywhere inside the car (so on the dash, or loose or inside the velcro adjustable steering wheel holder as pictured).

the big plug goes into the power socket and also houses the wireless receiver and ipod controller. there is a short ipod connection between this and your ipod/phone. the aux cable (about 20cm long) runs from the big plug to the aux plug.

its the best money i've spent in a while (other than the car that is!)

Sounds good - can you post up some pictures? I'd like to see how that looks.
