hi all

just bought my first gt4 wide body sadly iv got a few problems with the car if anyone can help me out

first poor starting from cold the engine management light stays on till its warmed up about a minute or so

second very poor boost like theres no turbo on the car

can anyone help

check the error codes 22 came up would this put the ecu in safe mode? water temp sensor were is it lol?thanks for any help and advice you can give me,

your water temp sensor is to the right of the rocker cover where the water pipe come out. not sure if it would cause the engine to go into safe mode, was that the only code?

yes m8 that was the only code , the water sensor do u mean the water elbow were the other sensors are ??

this car is a jap import if that helps

hi m8 just a quick update found the sensor and change it but the car is still saying error code 22 and still not very good at starting from cold but fires up first time every time when warm dont know what to try next any ideas

i'm guessing since the sensors not working it's not going onto the cold start map so doesn't have enough fuel to run right from cold, you sure you changed the right sensor?

the error code is 22 is that the water temp sensor?? or is there another? im totally baffled, if u av any pics of this sensor this may help is there a cold start sensors and where are they located that i could check reguards waz66
