Cleaning Stainless Steel?

Quick question here guys n gals

I finally got my standard exhaust fitted so now i have my custom backbox ready to sell however i'd prefer to clean it and polish it the best i can before i ship it, has anyone got any suggestions on what would be used to clean off the grime and muck?

Also part of the back box utilizes the OE exhaust, which i'm using an intelligent guess here, is made from mild steel so ideally wanna clean off all the crap off it

Autosol metal polish will bering polished stainless up like new.

If you need to get tar marks off it first petrol is cheap (compared to cleaning products at least) and works well.

agreed. autosol = shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny. use it on the tip on my t-sport. looks fab. even CTS owners ask if its the standard system.
