Nick_Johnsonn, you didn't notice much difference in ride comfort with the new springs because probably the dampers (struts) have been left intact so the recoil is basically same as before, only the springs are shorter...getting the full TTE suspension kit would improve handling immensely...I'm planning to lower my 1.6 with Eibach (spring supplier for TTE) and get me some 16 inch alloys...I don't think the engine part of the car can ever take me to where I would need the full suspension kit...as for why didn't Toyota lower the CTS in the first place, I think they decided to play on the safe side and avoided making choices for people who just wanted a fast-propelled car with a stromg engine (which exactly describes the CTS) and not worry about ground clearence when parking on curbs or driving on baaad and bumpy roads...if you want to lower it at your own risk so be it, they don't want you complaining and they want the TTE do get some extra dough...hell, I scratched the underbelly of my standard Cory more than once normally parking on curbs etc...imagine what will happen when I lower it - I'll have to be extra carefull where I park...

regards
