Under Sealed Or Not?

Alright chaps and chapets,

I'm gonna look at an st205 on the weekend. I asked the guy if the car had been under sealed (as its an import). He doesn't know... and now that i think of it... i'm not sure i can tell the difference either! lol!

How can you tell?

look underneath at the tunnels that run from front to rear ( the chassis beams lets say ) also inside the wheel arches at the rear , cos the fronts have covers ,if they look like paint then no , if they are black and a tar like appearence then yes. my st205 was undersealed and came direct from japan , so toyota did some or maybe the jap guy owner had it done ?? .

doing it yourself would cost about £30 , 6 tins should do it all.
