After my last service (30,000 miles) the dealer told me that they had upgraded the software on my EMU. I was in a rush and so didn't have time to get an explanation. Can anyone explain? Will I get fuel consumption? Auris TR 2 litre diesel June 2007

There has already been a topic posted about the ECU upgrade some months back, do a search. For me the fuel consumption has suffered since the upgrade.
