Stickers Just Front Of Back Wheel

Hi There,

Have had my Auris for 1 month now, and is quite happy with it.

But there is an issue which bothers the heck out of me: What are those stickers or plastic or whatnot that is just front of each back wheel on each side?

I have searched for other Auris' online, and it seems that some have the stickers/plastics and some not.

Can anybody help me out?

Hello Tekker!

Some people do believe that those stickers are missing from the oldest models of Auris (which came out from the factory first), as the factory started to add them only after some time, it's kinda upgrade. Those stickers are there to protect your car from rocks which can cause damage to your paintwork when flying from beneath your tyres...

I think it's weird that they are there, and so far 3 of my mates has asked what it was. Hardly feels at it belongs to this type of car?

Yes you can pull them off, if you're not concerned about how your car will look in the future of course. I'm sure that if they're there, they're there for a reason... Believe me, Japanese people do know what's good for your car!!

Hi - they are stone protectors

I thought they were strange too, almost not worth having them, can't see that they protect much and the front wheels have mini mud guards as standard anyway. They are on my t180; one of the first batch of t180's built. They have probably been on all auris' from the start.
