Wiseco pistons and eagle rods come in a package these days on eBay for not too much, around 400/500 quid check them out on eBay.com. Mahle pistons seem to be the piston of choice these days, i think the escort cosworth had them. Not too gen'd up on them but from what i know they have little heat expansion and i think you can get them in 86.2mm if you dont want to bore your block too much. If i could find the place where to order them from on their website i would think about getting some but its not too user friendly. Not saying wiseco are rubbish or anything i was thinking about getting some myself.

You should relocate your Battery to your boot aj, create more room for yourself.

i think i have spent in excess of £15k on the engine! yeh the pistons and rods cost me £1600, the boy at the machine shop said that they aint normal wisco pistons, they had a special coating on them! yeh the Battery is going in the boot, just waiting on the Battery box and the cable

im sure it will sound amazing.

can i ask why you went dumpvalve as to blowoff?

it aint finished yet. next two weeks i think, still to be mapped. a blow off valve and and a dump valve are the same thing aint they? there is a difference between a wastegate and a blowoff/dump valve

Yeah pretty much the same thing, dump valves just do not let continuous air into the engine. When the throttle closes, the dump valve lets off the pressure. This is because the pressure on the backside of the turbo is at a higher pressure than on the front side. A blow off valve equalizes pressure on both sides of the turbo.

Where have you been getting these parts from?

wastegate bypasses the exhaust gasses from the turbo limiting boost/ turbo speed.

would defo be worth gettin the rev 3 MR2 throttle body part as i found that sleaving it inside the original rubber causes it to blow out after a while.

you need 2 parts and the bottom longer bolts but it works so much better. gives a better location for a water injection jet too.throttlebody.jpg

i lined the rubber with a bit of metal tubing allowing the clamp to grip on somthing more substantial. but quite interested in the water jets tho

yeah i did the same and it still blew out a few times.

water injection is a very good safety feature, id look at the ERL kits though others are availiable and a bit cheaper but the ERL kit is by far the best for being compact and reliable

will the emanage ultimate be able to run this or will it have to be independent with a button in the cabin?
