Scored Brake Pads Twice In 2 Months

So we bought an 07 Corolla Verso 2.2 D T Spirit in Jan 09, 14000 on the clock.

Then in Feb we got it serviced (2 years service) and they replaced worn/scored pads. Fine.

Then in April we took it in for the rear parking sensor to be installed. Then they said they were worn again and replaced them (it is under warranty until next Feb)

Is that weird/worrying/dangerous/normal? Surely they shouldn't need replacing every 2 months, that is crazy

Any thoughts/experience welcomed

Is it just the pads or the discs as well? There are a couple of threads about scored discs on the forum it might be worth a read of these.

I had new rear discs and pads fitted under warranty at the last service in February, now after 3 months one is still OK but the other is again badly scored. I intend to go back next week and see what needs to be done.

Fortunately the brakes still seem to work OK and the dealer recommended that I wait until the service last time so I do not think it is dangerous.

But you are right it is crazy!!!
