2009 Yaris T-spirit Front Grille

Hi everyone,

Has anyone got a photo of the new 2009 Yaris T-Spirit front grille please? On Toyota's UK website there is no such photo of it. Funnily enough the T-Spirit is promoted as having an "exclusive" front grille but somehow no photos are available yet. I see no difference between the TR photo and the photo of the T-Spirit on Toyota's UK website as regards this "exclusive" front grille. Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Thanks but that is the front grille of the TR and not the T-Spirit. The T-Spirit (according to Toyota) has an "exclusive" front grille which is different from the TR model. And I have ordered a T-Spirit which I have not seen any on the roads! Regards.

This is a T-Spirit

The TR doesn’t have alloy wheels or front fog lights (and the SR has 15 spoke alloys and rear tinted glass) and that is a close up of the front grill. The lower models have a honeycomb effect front grill :)

The honeycomb grille was adopted on the pre-2009 models; that is, T2 and T3 and so on. I test drove a 2009 TR 1.3 6-speed a week ago and it had the grille as same as that you provided in your photo - by the way, I had already that photo. Somehow the T-Spirit must have a more different grille according to Toyota. And if you search all the Net you won't find a photo of it - believe me. The photo you provided is probably a TR model with the optional alloy wheels and fog lamps. The T-Spirit has standard fog lamps and alloy wheels. This "exclusive" front grille is still a mystery! And even the salesman told me that he had never seen the T-Spirit grille! Cheers

In that case then... the answer to your question is No

Having double checked the broacher, all the grills look the same. The SR is supposed to a ‘Sports Grill’ and the T-Spirit a ‘Unique Grill’. The differences must be very subtle. I will have to keep my eyes open for the next 2009 Yaris and take a closer look ;)
