Hi All

That long-awaited day in May has finally arrived

The most difficult pieces of my Gen 7 GT Jigsaw have finally been fitted

The TRD Rear Lip & C1 Bonnet Scoop

Here are a few pics

I'm extraordinarily satisfied and pleased with the work undertaken by the Bodyshop I managed to find

Fitting, colour matching and overall finish is superb

Here they are:

Fred Smith & Sons, (Sam's Lane, West Bromwich, West Midlands)

It's actually a Commercial Vehicle fitting & repair centre, but they know their stuff

My contact for this work - James Smith

Genuine Gentleman (Thanks, James)

Extremely professional, courteous & informative at all times - Fabulous service - Thoroughly recommended

Total cost for spraying & fitment; £280.00

With regards to the fitting quality of the Altezzalighting.co.uk TRD Rear Lip

James admitted it wasn't the easiest/best/'snuggest' piece of bodywork they've ever fitted, (it even reacted badly with the paint at one point), but their Bodyshop managed to rectify the problems and all is well

So for anyone with an Altezzalighting.co.uk TRD Rear Lip - make sure you choose an experienced fitter

I'm extremely happy with the overall look of the car now.....

Is it really finally finished?

(Probably not).....

Biggest question now - Do I need to 'extend' the Exhaust Tailpipe Chrome Trim?

(Opinions & suggestions appreciated)

Very Happily Yours

I've heard these Scoops can interfere with Windscreen wiper operation, any problems so far? ;)
