Difficult to say, he may just not know the value. TBH it's only recently that the prices have started rising again. At this time last year, mine a 1992 K was valued at £4000. I;ve since discovered that it's worth £5000 - £6000. I think good MR2's are becomming more scarce and their popularity seems to be growing.

It's worth checking out, what is there to lose, and if it's a good one you will have got yourself something of a bargain. Do check it over carefully though, pay special attention to engine, turbo and gearbox as these are costly to fix.

Actually, I've just looked at the Autotrader, and they're making bugger all again, nothing over £4000 most of the cars are £2200 - £3000. No turbos though, however, I wouldn't expect the presence of a turbo to increase the price, since the cost of ownership (i.e. insurance) is higher, makes them less attractive to some groups of people. Remember too, in some cases, owning a T-bar will mean a higher insurance premium. My hard top turbo costs £300 less to insure with Elephant because its not a T-Bar. Don't know what other companies are like with respect to this, may be a good idea to get some quotes.....

much cheapness !

and it has all the bags and covers for the glass, 17 inch 5 spokes and an induction kit and BOV.

The paint is well shiny but the front nose cone needs touching up a bit.

She got a good deal.. She's coming to JAE with me this year.

i think dame may hav hit the nail on the head. The owner is a little unsure of the prices but i've seen others similarly priced and its these that ill be lookin to get pretty soon.

have a look over of the car, if it seems sound go for it!

Like I said - it never hurts to look and TBH you want to see as many as possible in order to gauge what's good and what's not.
