Tns 300-310

Hi guys :) I have Toyota Avensis 2004 D4-D 2.0l . I have TNS 300-310 navigation system (dunno which one exactly), i have 2004/2005 DVD. I was wondering if there's a way to download the 2008 DVD? Because i don't want to spend a lot of money for it...

Can be done through the likes of Piratebay etc but the success depends not only on the download which is usually ok but your dvd burner and the type of media you use, verbatim is recommended and it must be a dual layer type disc and it is still a hit and miss thing.Toyota charge a fortune for the update and you can buy a much better spec Tom Tom for a lot less, there is someone on eBay selling what you are looking for and the price is starting around £18 and no bids as yet, sorry to sound a bit negative but loads of people have been down this road with variable amounts of success, best of luck .....Pete.

Hey Pete :) i had 2003 maps in that car standartly, i downloaded 2004/2005 DVD and burned it to double layer dvd it works. And i know that standart Toyota navigation is much better than the buyable ones :)

I have just been on the site pirate*** but which one do i need to select as they all say toyota lexus and i just have the tns300 on my 04 54 d4d any help would be greatly appreciated.cheers

Hi mate not 100% on this but I would go for the Lexus/Toyota EU 2007-2008 ver.1 Navi West Europe but it maybe for the 310 version.

If you are on broadband it is a free download anyway so it is worth a try, good luck but also see previous comments on burning the dvd.

Sorry but i don't know the answer to that one as i have only had one satnav and that is a tns310 in my 2.2 avensis d4d. Even though i have 20years computer experience it won't help me here, if you don't get any help on here try a quick call to a Toyota dealership.

Also type tns300 vs tns310 in the forum search box as there is loads of stuff on the subject, this is always the best route anyway as it saves others having to reply to past subjects already covered.

Just out of interest what brand of blank dvd disc and burning software did you use as i believe it can be critical.

Hi mate they are called Aone plus from scan computers part no LN15868 £4.13 for 10 dual layer and they work perfectly for me or you can get the other aone with the printable face same thing.cheers G
