Does anyone have any recommendations that will fit nicely in the boot?

I don't use the boot much.

I know where a can get an SPL kit with 12", amp and wiring kit for £120. Is that good?

yeah thats a good allrounder at entry level for ya money

a 12 should cope fine with ya demands

Yeah it depends what u want, those splx ones are a good package for the type of music

I got my 600W sub with box 2nd hand for 50quid, the rest is brand new, total cost on my system is 400 inc discounts of 100quid on head unit, back seats do adjust so you will have space for the sub, tube do give a better deep sound (JBL)
