Key Fob Batteries

Please help !! I think I need a new Battery for my key fob. The range is getting less and is picking and choosing of when to work ! please can anyone tell me where i can get one from? and do i need a code ? also are they expensive ? can i change it myself ? and will it need programming to my car ? i have a 52 plate rav4 vx 2ltr d4d. THANKYOU :)

You can get one at the local hardware shop for less than £5.

Normally you don't need to reprogram it but if it fails to work just press and hold both buttons until the indicators answer back.

When fitting the Battery, hold it across the edges and not on the flats.

Job done.

They are dead easy to change. I was advised to change them every two years. You just need a fine screwdriver.
