Whenever i press the clutch pedal down, the revs immediatly go up to around 2000 rpm. Is that normal?

hello

in case the A/C was ON before clutching down, then the revs are rised at once -- it is because there signal delay is available to ECU . but in case the A/C was not ON - the revs are sharply dropped once clutched down. The same is also occured in case the engine is still cold and the temp sensor gives a signal to rise revs.

Thanks for the reply igor, this happens whenever i press the clutch down to change the gear. Also the A/C is off along with everything else (apart from the radio), and the engine is also quite warm.

morning

ok this is an updating

i have tried several times when shifted all gears and disclosed the revs are rised a bit (100-200 rpm) -- and it is because of the load is manualy cancelled sharply but a mixture of (petrol-air) remains constant at the time of shifting due to inertia. But in case you observe more diference with rpm rising -- this means it is necessary to check with throttlle valve. CHeers/Igor
