Misfires And Wont Tickover

hi i wonder if anyone can help me

celica gt 1990 2.0 st182

i bought the car with the cam belt snapped ive had a new one fitted ive had it compression tested and everythings fine, ive had it on diagnostic and there are no fault codes.

its had new plugs/leads/dizzy

theres fuel coming through

the car will start kind of but it wont tick over and it misfires alot through out the driving range, the mechanic seemed stumped and so am I if anyone can throw some light on it would be very much appreciated!!

Worth a look at the cam timing, especially if a new belt has been fitted.

Yep, if one cam's a tooth out it will be very unhappy... :(

Have you checked that none of the valves are sticking. Sticky valves cause miss fire.

ok its not the cam timing the valves arent sticking there's fuel all the elctrics are working i can only assume the 3SGE engines are inteference engines and its touched when the belt broke......

the reall ***** is ive used up all my money on it now so im gonna have to sell it for scrap and its a god dam decent motor
