Can anyone tell me if there is a toyota owners independant magazine like to 'Totl BMW' for BMW owners? I've been trying to find a specialist in our area and keep drawing a blank and I thought the magazine may have them advertised.

My 1996 Rav 4 apparently needs the ECU replaced but I have my doubts...the prolem with the car is that, it will always start fine on even the coldest day but as soon as I stop at light or a junction or the revs drop below 1,000 rpm, the engine dies and sill take several fraught attempts to re-start. Anyone got any ides??

A new ECU costs £860.00!!!
