My Auris

As it's much easier to find info on member's cars, decided to have a separate topic on my car.

It's 1.6L Petrol (124) 2007YM Auris with manual transmission. Get some mods on in. Suspension, wheels, roof spoiler, JDM look wheel lug nuts, debadged, anti-crhomed.

...Window tints removed... I know you are old, but not THAT old you cannot see through the tints! Why did you remove them, why :(

BTW you should really consider painting those headlights in black for complete anti-chrome -look. Would be great add-on!

Best regards, Alex

I'm 23! :D

Yep no tinting at all now! Want to have some HQ shots in a days. If Hella will do really nice headlights, i'll change, but painting is not as good i suppose.

Wow that car is soooooooooooooo low

It's not so low as Japanese aurises on coilovers, and Auris by kristof from Belgium (check the Auris pictures thread) but i can proudly say it's the lowerest in Russia :)

My car was polished this year, it's glossy now, not looking at the half and a year of ownership :)

And there's no tinting now - it's removed!

Have to disagree with dan-daniel, I think those look much better than the previous ones because of the smaller diameter and lip, which makes the spokes even shorter. As Auris has pretty small brakes, the car looks better when they're "hidden".

Have couple of questions; I tried Google, and did not really find any Blest Mesh -rims, only one set which is being sold on eBay... In which country are they being produced and are the rims from that company really rare?

I believe you had ET40 on your 18" rims, why did you decide to bring your wheels even more out by choosing 38 rims? Is there some special reason like improving the handling or no?

Best regards, Alex

Can you see the pics now?

I've changed 18" not only for 17" only. Now i've got 2 summer wheels: for track and for street. In order not to spend so much money on my idea, i wanted to stop only for good 16", but find these 17" on forum for sale (they are in used condition, but rather good) and my friend gave his used tires, so it's pretty cost-saving chance :D

I like the style, plan to re-paint them by next season, got some scratches on spins. They look as they should be i suppose. 17" is the best looking size for Auris in my opinion.

The other side of the medal - in Russia the roads are not good enough, so i had to change front tires on 18" they costed me like 17" 4 rims! I was very angry :(

alexC

They are Japan Co.

But on their web-site can't find that model, maybe it's reduced now. ET38 - as it was :D i can't choose :)

The car has been sold out :(

Now i've bought a little bit used (4130km) Renault Clio Sport 197 (2.0L 197hp, Brembo 4 piston front 312 and 300 rear brakes with 'revo-knuckle' tech from RenaultSport, just the same as the last shootout with auris)

Suppose, it won't be interesting to write here about Renault, that's a little farewell, guys!

Congratulations on buying a new car xpyyy! Is the colour also same as in pictures, red?

And did you get good price for your old ride?

Best regards, Alex

Renault is a great hot hatch

Very tight handling and a lot of power for the fairly light clio. That will be fun. Big change for a 1.6 auris.

It's Red colour, the same as that one.

Price is pretty, but not enough good for Auris I expected some more money from selling it.

Hope Clio won't disappoint me in the future, i really like it and it was my dream for last 2 years.

I hope all the best to you and that your new car won't dissapoint you. I'm sure you will make it look different than the other ones, in a good way of course, like you did to your Auris. Take care man, I hope I'll see how your car looks after let's say one year, and I suppose I'll get a positive surprise then! :)

Best regards, Alex

Very nice and sporty car, but what I don't like is the rear end. From rear it looks like a box on wheels, or a car

for handicapped person  But car's price and sportyness compensates it's poor rear look I think.

To me Renault has too much same things on different models.

Best regards, Alex
